Product DescriptionOPTI-MIX 3 in 1 RENDER ADDITIVE is a highly concentrated waterproofing, plasticizing and retarding admixture for sand and cement mixes which is 10 times the strength of conventional products.

OPTI-MIX 3 in 1 RENDER ADDITIVE provides long term protection from water damage to mortar, concrete, renders and screeds by reducing water permeability. The product also contains air entraining, plasticising agents hence it will not “deaden” the mix and there is no need to add a separate admix. The “retarding properties of 3 in 1 RENDER ADDITIVE provide longer “working times” of mortars where increased mixed sizes can be prepared.

Limitations

•  Do not use in structural concrete.


•  Not intended as a DPC replacement, will not withstand permanent hydrostatic pressure.


•  For tanking applications use in conjunction with 908 DPM.


•  Final finish does not repel water. If a repellant finish is required use 402 Waterseal.


•  Do not overdose or overmix.


•  Never add directly to the mix.


•  Do not mix with other additives in the same gauging water.


•  It is the users responsibility to determine suitability for use. If in doubt contact Technical Services Department for further advice.
