Radon is a cancer -causing radioactive gas . it is the secound leading cause of lung cancer deaths in the US. Radon easily penetrates many common materials like gypsum board, concrete blocks, mortar, wood paneling and most insulation. This 400mu membrane meets the requirments for use as a Gas Control Membrane against Radon or on gas contaminated land, in accordance with the recommendations published by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and the National Building Regulation.
