Provides a robust fixing for verge tiles whilst covering over the end of the verge without the use of composition mortar and preserving the traditional stepped appearance. The Fast Fix Kit is designed for use with most large profiled interlocking slates and tiles (including the larger clay tiles) laid at a gauge of between 265mm and 345mm and is suitable for use on new build or refurbishment projects.
The use of traditionally pointed verges is becoming less popular due to the demand from homeowners for a maintenance free property. The use of composition mortar for pointing the verge has many inherent problems, not least the requirement for continuous pointing over the years due to the action of frost, rain and differential movement.
Mechanically fixed verge units provide secure fixing with none of the long term problems associated with traditional methods and offer highly cost effective solutions for all weather roofing. Manufactured from UV Stabilised Co-Polymer Polypropylene.
